This is a bi-weekly recap of new funding available and grants awarded for projects related to drainage funding, water health, watershed improvements and more. Grants open

OREGON – The USDA NRCS has opened applications for its Conservation Innovation Grants, available to any non-federal entities or individuals. Funds can be for single- or multi-year projects that do not exceed three years. The projects must aim to stimulate the adoption of conservation practices in the state of Oregon. Read more here.

ALBERTA – After a slight delay, the Land Stewardship Centre’s Land Stewardship grants have opened for the year. Online application forms and budget information are available online.

In deliberations

ILLINOIS – The Village of Raymond and its board are currently in discussion regarding how much new homeowners would be willing to contribute to a project involving a drain and private tile on Wild Rose Lane. The Village is also evaluating how much it will contribute to the project.
